Buttons
The progress bar can be used to show the user's progress through a process, whether it is filling out a multiple- page form, reviewing a document on eReview, or filling out an expense report on the Travel Portal.
The bar clearly showing where in the process the users are with a contrasting color to show the current step. By indicating how much they have accomplished and how much is left, the progress bar reduces users' frustration with complex processes and even offers navigation within the process, if appropriate.
